In Q1 2023, the top five music and audio apps on Android in South America showed notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their performance.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $5.7K at the end of December 2022 and escalating to around $34K by the end of March 2023. Weekly downloads for the app remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 600K and 700K, while weekly active users consistently hovered around the 55M mark.

Lark Player:Music Player & MP3 saw steady weekly downloads, ranging from 550K to 640K throughout the quarter. The app also maintained a robust weekly active user base, growing from approximately 21M at the end of December to nearly 23M by the end of March.

StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs showed a mixed performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $18.5K in early February and then declining to about $11.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a consistent rise from about 490K in late December to around 660K by the end of March.
